We factor coat condition, size, and special needs into our initial quote. If something significant changes (severe matting, health issues), we communicate before you're charged extra. That's the professional way to do business.

Special Circumstances
Double-Coated Breeds
Huskies, Malamutes, German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and similar breeds may require additional time for de-shedding. Add $25–$50 for thorough de-shedding during peak shed season.
Severely Matted Coats
If your pet's coat is severely matted, we quote individually. We'll assess in person and may recommend split visits or professional de-matting. Never a surprise—always upfront communication.
Anxious or Senior Pets
We offer no-charge split appointments for anxious or senior dogs. Multiple shorter sessions cost the same as one long session—your pet's comfort is worth it.
Multi-Pet Grooming
Grooming 2+ pets same visit? Get 15% off all services. We schedule back-to-back for efficiency, and you get a discount for your loyalty.
First-Time Rescue Pets
We offer 20% off the first grooming visit for rescue and shelter pets as part of our commitment to giving rescue animals a second chance.
Mobile Convenience Fee
All mobile grooming appointments include a $30 convenience fee (vs. bringing your pet to a salon). This covers travel, fuel, and personalized service at your home.

Why Don't You Charge Surprise Matting Fees?
We've all heard horror stories: a dog goes to the groomer, looks fine, comes back with a $200+ matting fee tacked onto the bill. That's not how we operate.
When you call for a quote, tell us the truth about your dog's coat: "Not brushed in a month," "Some mats on the back," "Pretty tangled." We factor that into our flat quote upfront. If we encounter severe matting we didn't know about, we call you immediately. No surprises. Ever.
